This is a simple filament cutter for the awesome ERCF so tip tuning is less important. This hardware kit features a servo-driven cutting mechanism designed to work with the ERCF system. The assembly consists of a precision blade mounted on a pivoting arm that positions itself just behind the encoder selector. By swinging the arm to the side, the filament path opens, allowing fresh filament to be fed mid-air. When the arm returns to its closed position, the blade cleanly severs the filament tip, which drops away naturally. This automated cutting process eliminates the need for meticulous tip tuning, enabling consistent filament loading with a clean edge every cycle.
