Description Special internal lining that won't allow cables to burn internally. Prevents fire externally from burning cables. The ECPS has a silicone fireproof covering, which is v ery robust in protecting cables. The sleeve will also stop cables in vehicles catching fire. Ideal for cables passing through walls, cupboards and hollow dry lining walls, where cables come down through the into the consumer units or distribution boards. ECPS Cable Sleeve is ideal where plastic and metal cupboards are fitted to walls outside houses or flats. The ECPS can be cut down the side, wrapped around cables or pipes to give fire integrity to the house or flat. When cables are already in situ, the EPCS can be cut down the side and wrapped around the cables, this is why the sizes range from 13mm up to 76mm internal diameter.
