This wine really represents Envínate’s winemaking. We start with a plot in the village of Doade. Back in those head-spinningly steep vineyards. Working with 60-year-old vines of Me ncia, with a sprinkling of a field blend. The whole bunches are hand harvested and foot trodden. 11 months in neutral oak give this wine just enough time and the reward is a fresh and persistent wine with delicate silky tannin. Fruit is led by ripe red cherries and raspberries eaten off the cane, with a savoury, earthy tone to back it up. Show more
