Housed in an embossed cloth slipcase, EPICENTER by Jacob Rosenberg is a two-book set: a photo book and an attendant original essay/exclusive interview book. Available in an edition of 1000 copies. Photo book: 112-page, cloth covered hard back photo book featuring 48 drum-scanned film photographs coupled with iconic frame grabs from 1990-1993, taken at Embarcadero, San Francisco. Printed on 120gsm Italian art paper with UV coated, spot gloss varnish, and dipped page edges. Source scans captured in Los Angeles at “The icon, LA” Essay/Interview book: 160-page, foil-stamped, concrete-grey paperback with blind-embossed titling. sewn-bound, with 18 images throughout. Presented in reverse silkscreen design on bulky uncoated art paper with mottle-embossed cover. Additional Items: The set is completed with a 24”x36” glossy poster of frame grabs from Jacob’s ’90 - ’93 video archive, as well as a limited giclée print of a commissioned painting of the Embarcadero Plaza by Eric Merrell.
