This easy-to-grow and early flowering, clump-forming species from the Hubei and Guizhou Provinces of China has only recently been introduced into cultivation in the US. The stems b ear 5"+ long leaves and can reach lengths of 2'. The first stalks to emerge in spring are clothed at the tip with large, lemon-yellow flowers that resemble giant floating spiders. We recommend cutting back the evergreen foliage in early spring if it has become tattered during the winter. Show more
