Epipremnum aureumLeaves, aerial roots and new side shoots all meet the vine at clearly spaced nodes. The roots can attach an upward-growing stem to a surface, while the flexible se ctions between the nodes allow unsupported growth to hang.Young leaves are glossy and broadly oval to heart-shaped. Golden-yellow to cream streaks, splashes and jagged patches cross the green surface in a different arrangement on every blade, and similar markings may continue onto the stem.On established, attached stems growing upwards, later leaves can become much larger. Their outline normally remains broadly whole, with only occasional pinholes or shallow irregular cuts rather than the regular deep divisions of Epipremnum pinnatum. Show more
