Strong ale fermented in Sauternes casks. The Golden Net draws inspiration from the pale, dry stock Scotch ales of the 19th Century. It was brewed with single origin Scottish malt f rom @craftymaltsters and hopped with whole cones of East Kent Goldings in the boil. It was then fermented warm in our open fermenters, to encourage maximum fruity esters, before a slow, secondary fermentation in Sauternes casks with more East Kent Goldings and our house Brettanomyces strains.
