Malte van der Meyden is a conceptual designer based in Düsseldorf, Germany. With a playful approach to his work, Malte blends conventional forms with conceptual objects. The ‘EPS2’ candle is a bold sculptural candle made from 100% canola wax and features an organic silhouette that resembles pieces of Styrofoam. The candle is centered by an elongated cotton wick, and as it melts, the candle undergoes a transformation in shape. Each candle is handmade in Germany and comes with a branded dust bag.
