The L&G Equalizer 5 Piece Linear bumps up from four to five glass globes arranged horizontally along anodized aluminum tubing, giving you more coverage for longer dining tables, extended kitchen islands, or lobby desks. The setup mounts to a 48-inch by 10-inch rectangular canopy instead of round ones, creating this clean linear installation that spans about 48 inches total. The fifth globe adds more distributed light across the length, useful when you need illumination that reaches the full span of a large table without dark spots at the ends. Like the 4-piece version, this gets custom-sized to your specifications during ordering, so you're not stuck with whatever standard length the manufacturer decided on. Five globes at 550 lumens each (2700K) give you solid task lighting across a wider area - enough for cooking, working, or dining without harsh shadows. The anodized aluminum finishes stay consistent across the Equalizer line: Olive, Bronze, Black, or Gold for hardware and canopy, with translucent glass globes in Smokey Green, Cream, Grey, Bronze, or Chameleon. The GY 6.35 bi-pin bulbs (5 watts, 24 volts, rated for 30,000 hours) come included, dimming's standard, and the fixture works with most international electrical systems. UL certification available on request, and like all Equalizer pieces, this gets built to order with a 10-12 week lead time. Ladies & Gentlemen Studio's Equalizer collection keeps expanding with different configurations since the 2016 launch with John Hogan. Dylan Davis and Jean Lee's Brooklyn studio treats lighting as customizable systems rather than one-size-fits-all products - the 5-piece linear works for situations where four globes aren't quite enough coverage but a radial configuration doesn't fit your space layout. The extra globe spreads light more evenly across length, preventing those dark zones at table ends that happen with underlit fixtures. Everything's customizable for materials, finishes, and sizing, so you're working directly with the studio to build something that actually fits your specific installation requirements.
