EquiBuffer is a scientifically formulated complementary feed designed to support gastric comfort by helping buffer excess stomach acid while also supporting the stomach’s natural protective barrier. It is particularly suited to horses whose workload, travel, feeding routine or periods of stress may place additional demands on the stomach. The formula combines calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide for targeted buffering support with apple pectin, sunflower lecithin and fenugreek to help maintain the stomach’s natural protective defences. Dried sugar beet pulp and yeast-derived ingredients provide further nutritional support as part of a balanced digestive programme. EquiBuffer can be fed during periods of increased gastric challenge or used longer term at the maintenance feeding rate. It can also be used alongside EquiNectar, with each product supporting a different part of the digestive process to provide a more complete approach to equine gut health.
