Ercuis was founded in 1867 by Adrien Celeste Pillon, a priest from Ercuis in the French department of Oise, north of Paris. In 1880 Ercuis opened their first shop in Paris. With evolving styles and trends Ercuis made a transition to more modern styles in 1969, introducing sleek designs to their expert level craftsmanship.
