The ER-JG-7200D, manufactured by Okuma, is an absolute position encoder designed for precise feedback on axis speed and positioning. It comes equipped with a multi-pole resolver (MPR) for both higher and lower digit positioning, ranging from 0.0001 to 123.4560. With a feedback system operating at a frequency of 5kHz, the encoder compares phase offsets to a CNC-generated 81.92 MHz clock signal to measure distance. With every 36 degrees turn, a 360° phase shift is generated, allowing the control to count 16384 clock pulses per revolution. This feedback signal interfaces with the OSP control. The ER-JG-7200D is designed to digitize parallel pulse signals and can be attached to several systems, including hydraulic ATC magazines and the BL motor where necessary. The encoder's casing has a shaft. D6 type encoders are specifically suitable for DC servo axis systems, while the E and F type encoders can make 2048 revolutions per minute.
