[short-description] We have restored this beautiful drop-leaf table and four chairs made by classic British furniture makers Ercol and given it a whole new lease of life with a tou ch of French Linen Grey colour paint on the chair and table bases. The tops have been carefully stripped back to reveal the stunning natural grain and colour of the elm wood then clear lacquered to give an appealing and hard-wearing finish. The suite includes four delightfully shaped spindle back chairs. This suite carries with it a good amount of age and with tis has come some slight twisting of the wood in some of the chairs. This has been compensated with studs under the legs making the chairs more stable when sat on.
