Why wool and linen together Wool holds warmth. It insulates even when the air is damp, which is exactly when a cotton robe feels thin and cold. Linen keeps it breathable. The blend stops it becoming stuffy indoors and gives the cloth enough structure to hang properly rather than sag. It is naturally odour-resistant. Wool needs washing far less often than cotton — airing it is usually enough. It lasts. Wool and linen are both long-staple fibres; this is a robe that outlives several terry ones. Fit Cut unisex and relaxed, with a generous wrap, two front pockets and a tie belt. Care Cold wash only, hang dry — heat is what shrinks and felts wool, so no hot water and no tumble dryer. No bleach and no fabric softener.
