The steel sleeve slides over 1" outer diameter poles easily, and the included thumbscrew may be tightened for added stability. Steel, 2.25" long and 2" wide plates sit at both the top and along one side of this sleeve, each with holes in the corners. This allows you to mount either the base or back of a bird house onto the plate using the four included screws.
