This painting and another painting called "Faces" was inspired by the colours in 2 rooms in a building I was in. This particular painting was based on a room that was so serene, I almost didn't want to leave. Hence the addition of some "claw marks" in a couple of places on the piece, that depict the need to escape the serenity, through fear of being forever lost in a world of beautiful colours.
