Inspired by a real job ad for a live-in dog sitter in Kensington offering a six-figure salary. Posted on a certain “meaningful work” jobs board, the absurdity of it would’ve been f unny if it wasn’t so bleak. But this piece isn’t really about pets.It’s about a system so skewed that some dogs are swaddled in luxury while some parents can’t afford to feed their children.
