Escentric 01 celebrates the hyper-abstraction of Iso E Super. Cocooning, woody and inexplicably addictive, Iso E Super is a molecule that hovers close to the skin to create an indefinable aura around the wearer. Geza Schoen created Escentric 01 as an invitation to defy convention and challenge imposed rules. Escentric 01 focuses on Iso E Super at 65% of the fragrance compound in an abbreviated formula designed to maximise the molecule's efflorescence. Escentric 01 has a huge chunk of Iso E Super at 65%. At that concentration, the effect of the aroma-molecule is just as magnetic and cocooning as in our lauded Molecule 01. The difference is that here, a tight edit of 18 ingredients is used to lift and amplify the super molecule's fresh and sensual aspects. Escentric 01 opens with lime peel and pink pepper, with hedione (green jasmine bud) and orris in the heart amplified by balsamic notes and fresh musk, producing a seriously lingering base note.
