Escallonia Iveyi is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub covered in glossy green foliage and an abundance of fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for seaside and coastal gardens, Esc allonia will quickly produce a good quality hedge and can be clipped into a formal hedge or left as is for a more informal look. We recommend you plant Escallonia 70 cm apart for hedges and borders. Prune after flowering to encourage new growth and flowering. Feed with a controlled-release fertiliser twice yearly. Soil: Free-draining soil rich in organic matter. Mulch and water well until established. Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Coastal, drought, heat and frost tolerant.
