Its 12-inch internal box extends only approximately 1.25 inches into the display, providing broad surface collection without the footprint of a full-height internal overflow tower. Rated for return flow up to 1000 GPH and aquariums from 100 to 150 gallons, the Eclipse Large uses two transfer bulkheads between the internal and external boxes. Three 1-inch drain bulkheads provide the flexibility needed for multi-drain plumbing configurations with primary, secondary and emergency drain capability. Verify that the selected panel is non-tempered and suitable for drilling before beginning. The aquarium must also provide sufficient rear clearance for the external box and three drain lines. Return-pump flow should be calculated after vertical head pressure and plumbing resistance are considered. Configure the drains so that the system retains backup capacity if the primary drain becomes partially or completely obstructed. Eshopps Eclipse Large Installation Directions Drain the aquarium below the installation area and position the supplied drilling template at the intended operating-water height. Confirm that the template is level and that both the internal and external boxes will clear the aquarium trim, stand and surrounding equipment. Use the included 60 mm holesaw to create the required openings while following appropriate aquarium-glass drilling procedures. Install the transfer bulkheads and gaskets with the internal and external boxes correctly aligned, then fit the three drain bulkheads and red standpipe. Complete the drain plumbing and conduct a fresh-water test that includes shutting off the return pump and restricting the primary drain to verify safe operation.
