Its slim internal surface-skimming box extends only approximately 1.25 inches into the aquarium, while the external box contains the drain bulkheads and removable lid. Designed for drilled aquariums with return flow rates up to 600 GPH, the Eclipse Small combines surface skimming, multi-drain plumbing capability and a clean low-profile appearance. A drilling template and 60 mm holesaw are included to simplify installation on a suitable aquarium panel. Confirm that the selected panel is non-tempered and suitable for drilling before beginning installation. Tempered glass must not be drilled. Select the overflow according to the actual return-pump flow reaching the aquarium after head-pressure loss. The drain system should retain enough capacity to manage normal flow and provide protection if the primary drain becomes restricted. Eshopps Eclipse Small Installation Directions Drain the aquarium below the installation area and position the supplied template at the desired operating-water height. Confirm that the template is level and that there is sufficient clearance behind the aquarium for the external overflow box and plumbing. Drill the required opening using the included holesaw while following proper glass-drilling procedures and keeping the cutting area cooled. Install the internal and external boxes with the supplied bulkhead and gaskets positioned according to the Eshopps installation layout. Connect the drain plumbing, install the standpipe and test the complete system with fresh water before placing it into normal operation.
