Confirm that the selected glass panel is non-tempered and suitable for drilling before beginning. Tempered aquarium glass must not be drilled. The overflow should be positioned according to the desired operating-water level while leaving sufficient clearance behind the aquarium for the external box, cover and drain plumbing. The connected return pump should remain within the 700 GPH maximum flow rating after head-pressure loss. The two 1-inch drains can be arranged as a controlled primary drain and an unrestricted safety drain. Always test the system with the primary drain restricted to confirm that the backup drain can safely manage the aquarium flow. Eshopps Prodigy Medium Installation Directions Use the supplied template to establish the overflow position and confirm that the internal and external boxes will clear the aquarium trim, stand and surrounding equipment. Follow the complete Eshopps installation instructions when drilling the suitable aquarium panel. Install the transfer bulkhead and gaskets with the internal weir and external box properly aligned. Fit the two 1-inch drain bulkheads, install the red safety standpipe and connect the required drain plumbing. Adjust the internal weir to establish the desired display-water height. Test the completed system with fresh water before normal aquarium operation.
