ESP Barrel Bobbins are engineered here in the UK at Drennan/ESP's factory. ESP has really thought about the design and function of these hangers. For example, to ensure the bobbin stays light, you can use the chains with the plastic screw thread connector on the ends. However, if you want to add more weight, switch the chain around and screw in the metal 3g connector. Another clever touch is that the hockey stick has another 3g weight incorporated into it if you need more weight, which increases the weight to 6g. The Barrel Bobbins come with two stainless steel chains, 3" and 7" in length. They also come with interchangeable line clips, so you can either use the bobbin free running on the line with the ball clips, or you can replace those and fit the gripper line clips so you can fish Elstow Style.
