This handmade ceramic mug was crafted in our home studio in Dallas, TX. Each piece is thrown on the pottery wheel, carefully trimmed, and decorated by hand. We use underglaze to add unique, hand-painted details before the mug undergoes an initial bisque firing in the kiln. Afterward, it is glazed and fired once more at a higher temperature, ensuring durability and a beautiful finish. Due to this handmade process, every piece is one of a kind—variations in glaze and minor imperfections are natural and add to its charm. All Maro Ceramics pieces are made with lead-free, food-safe commercial glazes. Unless otherwise noted, they are microwave and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to extend their longevity.
