The ESR.8+8 12 volts DC receiver has 8 volt-free relays and is designed for CCTV and alarm systems that require up to 16 or more wireless PIR detectors to be received to one central position. It has a wireless transmission range of 500 metres which can be extended to 1km using an external AE434 aerial. Supplied with 8 zones as standard, a further 8 zones can be added using an ESEM8 module to provide the maximum of 16 zone outputs. The 8 relays can be individually set to N/C or N/O and cannot be directly used to turn on loads more than 100MA. The internal LED display and buttons make programming quick and easy, and non-volatile memory ensures that learned codes and alarm states are not forgotten in the event of a power failure. The ESR8+8 receiver is capable of learning up to 170 EasySwitch devices which can all be assigned to one zone if required. An external ‘inhibit’ feature can be used to disable the alarm relays globally or in groups. An ESF.4 keyfob can also be used to disable the alarm relays remotely. There are two additional relays that can be programmed to provide a grouped or global alarm output, as well as day/night and global or grouped ‘inhibit’ as required.
