The Rioja Lovers Box does exactly what it says on the tin, and more! The box is themed around Rioja and the main grape in Rioja which is Tempranillo. Rioja is a wine region in Northern Spain and is most associated with summer berry fruits, being medium bodied and lastly, oak. Our Rioja Essentials box contains our three most loves Rioja wines, and they are so get, you get each one twice! Our Lopez Rioja is superb, renowned for its rich, fruity flavours, with hints of oak and a smooth finish it is truly for the rioja lover. The Gran Cerdo is made with whole bunch fermentation, light filtration and minimal sulfur makes for an interesting and beautiful glass of organic rioja, one of my new favourites on our list, excellent value wine on offer here. The Caminante Rioja is juicy, fun and vibrant Rioja, made without any oak. An absolutely gorgeous glass that is very more-ish; chewy, with liquorice hints and full of summer berry fruits.
