Esterbook began manufacturing nibs in the US in the mid 1800s, but introduced their first interchangeable nib system in 1933. The interchangeable nibs gave the user many options fo r writing at school, business, home, etc. Today, a similar system is reborn with the Estie and the specially engineered Modern to Vintage "MV" Nib Adapter. The Esterbrook MV Nib Adaptor enables you to use vintage Esterbrook nibs in the modern Esterbrook Estie. The MV adapter replaces the grip section of the modern Estie, both standard and oversize. Need a vintage Esterbrook nib? This set includes a random vintage Esterbrook nib unit and a proprietary converter which fits the vintage nibs better than the normal standard international converter. We cannot honor any special requests for specific sizes. Just screw the MV Nib Adapter into your pen, screw your nib into the adapter, attach the cartridge or converter and you are ready to write with your favorite vintage Esterbrook nib. Show more
