A weathered "Estação Meteorológica" panel, captured on foot along the Portuguese Camino in Porto. This etching renders a vintage weather station in rich black-and-white detail — hygrometer, barometer, and thermometer dials worn by decades of coastal air, their glass cracked, their hands frozen mid-reading. Bold lettering, rusted rivets, and mottled stone framing evoke the quiet, unassuming relics found along the pilgrim's route — instruments that once measured the sky above walkers headed to Santiago. A playful, gestural sketch at the base adds a contemporary human touch, a reminder of the artist's hand at work alongside the machine's old certainty. For this hand-pulled photogravure etching, we press ink into fine art paper from a plate we create from the original image. Print is made with Gamblin Bone Black ink on Hahnemühle Copperplate paper. These limited-edition prints are signed and numbered on the lower front. Image and paper sizes are approximate. Variations within the edition are possible and expected. Image 12 X 28 cm on 28 × 39 cm paper.
