Pinot Meunier is the backbone of the Esterlin range, and the Pur Meunier gives the grape its own platform. A single-variety champagne from the 2019 vintage (the first edition of this cuvée), sourced from the Meunier-rich vineyards of the Marne Valley and the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay. Vinified without malolactic fermentation, aged 10+ years on lees. Extra-Brut dosage to let the grape and terroir speak clearly. A champagne for those curious about what Meunier can do when it is the only voice in the room. Tasting notes: Fresh and fruit-driven, white and yellow fruits on the nose with the characteristic depth of the no-malo, long-ageing approach. On the palate: round and expressive, with both the roundness and the freshness of fruit that Esterlin considers the hallmark of its Meunier-based wines. Food pairing: Excellent as an aperitif and at the table. Particularly good with poultry, mild cheeses and dishes with stone fruit.
