Estwing - Pointed Tip Rock PickThese are great hammers are have the trademark forged head and handle that all Estwing hammers possess. The leather grip looks great and gives it a real 'geologists' look to them. These are great gifts for a special one! The Urethane coating on leather handles can crack due to temperature variations and during shipping and will crack during normal use. It is not considered defective if the handles have cracks.  It is best to keep the leather handled varieties out of the damp and the sun to ensure the leather stays in tip top condition (it will last ageeees if you keep it in good condition).  This hammer is identical to the E3-22P except for the different handle. Personally I think these look great as a gift or if you dislike the rubbery feel of the other grips. Like the other Estwing hammers, they are also made in the US. Show more
