We taught them our language and shared our knowledge while they, in turn, studied our ways with a cold, reptilian detachment.Then they arrived in greater and greater numbers, swarms of vehicles arriving by air. Construction teams, escorted by armed emissaries, began erecting vast monuments in celebration of their wealth and in glory to their many gods. This continued until our entire world was made unrecognisable, transformed into a foreign landscape.And they never left.They treated us like pests.And sectioned us off.And they called us aliens."
