Etho puts a wide, shallow ceramic shade on a slim metal stem — nearly eighteen inches across but under ten deep, so it casts a broad pool of light rather than a narrow one. AC Stud io glazes the ceramic in five finishes, and the material is the point: it holds light differently from metal, warming at the rim where the glaze thins.
