With no restriction at all from IFRA and a scent profile like a more characterful damascone delta meets damascone alpha, this material deserves to be front and centre in more contemporary fragrances. Blends with Persicol are sublime and exploit its fruity side. Its bashful minty side can be extended and enhanced with touches of Peppermint Oil “Black Mitcham”, or use it to add a sultry Saffron note to a damascone rich rose base. In vanillin base amber accords it can lend a wonderful gloss when dosed correctly. Ethyl Safranate is indispensable and shockingly addictive.
