Desertification isthe process by which vegetation in drylands i.e. arid and semi-arid lands, such as grasslands or shrublands, decreases and eventually disappears. Afforestation is the climate friendliest way to sequester CO2, with high levels of CO2 sequestration and oxygen production. Combining it with Regenerative Agroforestry creates numerous benefits in food production and nature conservation. Both rapidly sequesters carbon in biomass and the soil.
