Eureka Drywall Ceiling Screw Product Description The Ceiling Screw has a large head to prevent it from pulling through ceiling board. It features the bugle screw head design that allows the screw to embed itself in the ceiling board, resulting in a slightly recessed finish, which can later be filled and painted to achieve a smooth finish. Ceiling Screws should be inserted with an electric screwdriver accompanied by a #2 Phillips screw driving bit. In addition, for best results, the Ceiling Screw should be inserted 90° to the ceiling board to allow the larger head to sit perfectly flat. The screws have coarse thread, allowing them to fasten ceiling board securely to a wood substrate such as studs or roof brandering, as strong holding power is required. Ceiling screws are extremely strong. Sharp point and thread allow for fast and easy insertion in ceiling board and a wood substrate.
