The Evacuation Chair Operator Training Course is an inspiring and practical training session, offering your team the skills and confidence needed to evacuate mobility-impaired individuals. It ensures operators can deploy and use evacuation chairs correctly, while meeting essential UK fire safety and equality legislation. Delivered by the Emergency Group, no previous evacuation chair knowledge is required for this course, and it can support up to 4 people per session. Delivered over the course of 1-2 hours, learners can expect to: Be able to deploy and use evacuation equipment safely and with confidence. Have increased awareness and sensitivity to potential evacuation hazards that may prevent safe evacuation of a building. Know how evacuation equipment enables them to safely evacuate a building and helps fulfil the requirements of evacuation procedures. Please be aware that there is a heightened level of physical activity during the physical aspect of the training. As a result, consider the following points when choosing to attend: Physical ailments and limitations. Pregnancy. Aggravation of any health conditions that may occur during physical activity. After successfully completing the training, all delegates will receive a 3-year digital certificate, demonstrating their competence and supporting compliance.
