The Evam stool is made from solid reclaimed teak and carved by hand by a local master craftsman in Udaipur, India. The carving displays the “hexafoil” or “flower of life” pattern w hich can be found as far back as 6000 years in various cultures etched into walls and onto objects. The pattern has a long history of various meanings, but it most commonly represents protection or the cycle of creation. The legs attach to the sturdy base with a wedged tenon joint, one of the strongest, durable and long lasting joints in furniture. View product tearsheet here. Show more
