Evans Power Cool 180 has a number of properties that are beneficial to use in the MINI: Higher boiling point than water based coolants: Evans Waterless Coolant is in liquid form across a larger range of temperatures meaning that heat transfer (cooling) is more effective than water-based coolant that would be in gas form at the equivalent temperature. This improved cooling also helps to eliminates premature detonation that is associated with over heating. The higher boiling point means less gas build up in the coolant system: with this in mind, there is less chance of losing coolant from the system meaning the coolant can do its job.
