For our final April baseball release, we give you the story of the Evansville Triplets. In 1969, when the MLB expanded, it needed two new Triple A franchises. Evansville was awarded one of those teams. From 1970-1984, the Triplets played their home games at historic Bosse Field. The franchise held a contest to name the team. It refers to the team playing at the Triple-A level and that the team would represent not just Indiana, but the entire tri-state area, including Kentucky and Illinois. In 1984 the team was sold and moved to Nashville, Tennessee. 100% polyester Structured High-profile 7-position adjustable snap closure New Era 9FIFTY FIT: Features a classic, throwback look with a flat visor that can curve with a full crown.
