Join Zander Schlacter, Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist and designer at Gotham Bowery for a night of collage crafting! This workshop will begin with a look at some inspiration from collage work by artists throughout history, followed by an introduction to collage materials and techniques, before embarking on some open-ended work time with guidance from Zander. Workshop ticket price includes all materials and instruction from Zander. Workshop participants will be provided with access to all kinds of collage materials, like magazines, colored papers, stickers, tape, glue, hole punches, and scissors. Participants are welcome to bring some of their own photographs, stickers, papers, magazines— anything personal they might want to include in a collage. No prior experience or special skills required, just the desire to have a fun, crafty time.
