The bottom three quarters of the seal serves as a pedestal for a fully carved fu dog guarding several coins. The sculpted area is a more solid cool gray color with minimal yellow and red accented areas. In spite of its slender, somewhat delicate look, this seal commands a surprisingly strong presence. Symbolic Meaning: The fu dog is a mythical creature in Chinese culture, a guardian thought to have magical protective powers.
