Remove loose/flaking coatings and any old sealant/mastic before application. Degrease where needed: Glass, steel and aluminium should be cleaned with a suitable solvent for optimum adhesion (test a small area first). Apply: Cut the nozzle to suit bead size and apply using a standard sealant gun. Smooth/tool the bead promptly. Finish: For a sharper edge, mask either side of the joint and remove the tape within 5 minutes of application. Cure: Allow to cure (guide: ~2mm per 24 hours). Avoid washing/exposure until cured. Cleaning & storage Tool clean-up: Uncured sealant: white spirit. Cured sealant: use a silicone remover type product. Storage: Store cool and dry between +5°C and +25°C. Limitations (important) Not for aquarium manufacture. Not for use in conjunction with bitumen or asphalt.
