This coffee comes from Ethiopia, from the Gute origin. It’s roasted to a City-Full City level (Medium-Dark) and grown at 1900 MASL. Naturally processed, it delivers notes of chocolate bark and graham cracker, layered with cherry and a bright hint of lemon. Ethiopia is known as being the birthplace of coffee and has vast genetic diversity of coffee varietals, producing exceptional beans, some of the best in the world. The country's unique growing conditions and the cultural importance of coffee also contribute to its exceptional status. This single origin, natural process bean comes from one of the top three coffee producing regions in Ethiopia, where farmers cultivate coffee at elevations above 1,900 meters. The altitude’s cooler temperatures slow the growth process, allowing more complex acids to develop, resulting in crispy, citrusy wine-like notes. After harvest, the cherries dry for 16 days to achieve ideal moisture. Ad Gustare seeks particular varietals that we roast to peak flavor. This roast has a rich body that is very complex along with a bright and vibrant aftertaste, one you may want to savor on a forest escape next to a toasty campfire.
