Tim Cahill’s Everton years (2004–12) turned him into a Premier League cult hero: a midfielder who played like a striker. Signed from Millwall for about £2m, he made 226 league appearances and scored 56 league goals—huge numbers for a box-crashing “8/10”. His trademarks were late runs beyond the No.9, towering headers, and relentless pressing, topped off by that corner-flag boxing celebration. He won Everton’s Player of the Season awards in his debut year, became a set-piece weapon, and featured in the 2008–09 FA Cup final run. For a decade, he gave David Moyes’ side goals without sacrificing grit. Show more
