A verse recited as a reminder of utter dependence on God alone, La ḥawla wa la quwwata illa billah speaks to humility and strength through surrender. Set in deep green tones, the composition draws from the Jalī Thuluth script, its bold confident strokes balanced by spacious pauses that echo composure and trust. The negations (lā) dominate the structure, their assertive upward curves forming the visual backbone of the piece. These denials are not voids but affirmations, a rhythm of “not this, not that,” leading the eye and heart toward the One beyond all power. At the summit rests the Lafẓ al-Jalālah (Name of the Supreme), raised in reverent etiquette above all form, anchoring the entire composition in the reality it proclaims.
