Everyday Sequencing is a solid-wood cognitive sequencing activity for adults from Creative Crafthouse, designed by Pete Janelle with a practicing speech-language pathologist and handcrafted in our family workshop in Hudson, Florida. The set pairs six engraved wooden Activity Cards, each showing a familiar daily routine, with twenty-four illustrated Sequencing Tiles (four per card) and a wooden Sequencing Board. It measures 8.5 by 11 inches. The task is simple and hands-on: choose an Activity Card, then arrange its four Sequencing Tiles in the correct order, first step to last. Familiar routines like washing your hands or locking the door invite conversation, reasoning, and recall in a warm, screen-free format that adapts to a wide range of ability levels. Sequencing familiar daily routines is a common focus in occupational therapy and speech-language activity work, so the set fits naturally alongside that kind of everyday-routine practice. Made by our family Everyday Sequencing was designed by Pete Janelle together with a practicing speech-language pathologist who uses the Cognitive Challenge Series in her own work; her experience with everyday-routine sequencing helped shape the six activities and their steps. It is part of that Cognitive Challenge Series she and Pete are developing. It is handcrafted in our Hudson, Florida workshop and shipped from our Florida shop. The Activity Cards and Sequencing Tiles are precision laser-engraved on real wood, so each set carries the grain and warmth of a made-by-hand object.
