Our Evil Eye coaster/cleansing cloth is crocheted by hand with love by Mama Trickster, the mother of your local trickster spirit. Each one is crafted with love, imbuing the item with the goodwill of a supportive, loving mother. With good intent and love woven into every strand, this item is a potent piece to ward away the ill intent of others in the form of il malocchio, or the evil eye, so that harm will not come to you. Each piece is made in the style of the Nazar eye, a traditionally glass amulet that has long been used to keep the evil eye at bay. It can be used as a coaster, placed beneath ceramic bowls during oil and water evil eye removal ceremonies, beneath offerings, or used to charge amulets or other items placed on top. It can also be used as a cleansing cloth to wash your face, wiping away the effects of the evil eye if it is already upon you. We recommend this use in evil eye removal baths or, should you not have access to a bath, to wash your face with the same mixture you would use for an evil eye removal bath, such as our Evil Eye Removal Bath Salts. It can also be used to wipe down statuary or other sacred items to remove miasma, or the negative effects of daily life, or for evil eye removals from amulets designed to ward away the evil eye. Each coaster/cleansing cloth measures 3.75 inches. Please note that, when used for washing purposes, the colors of the cloth may fade some, as is natural for any piece made with dyed yarn.
