That separation is worth having on a short-wheelbase AWD car: you can back the compression off so the loaded front tire stays in contact over a broken back road, then set rebound on its own to control how fast the corner settles again afterwards. If you run track days and want to shape each half of the damper curve, this is the kit; if you would rather have one simple adjuster, the standard NEOMAX kit is the easier tool.
