The EazyPod utilizes static K1 Micro, which provides enhanced biological benefits, even when using the EazyPod solely as a mechanical waste filter. The EazyPod filtration system delivers excellent water quality and clarity. The large volume of K1 Micro provides plenty of surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. When the media is kept static, it also acts as a highly effective mechanical filter, trapping waste and debris. During cleaning, an air pump agitates the K1 Micro media, loosening and releasing the waste and debris trapped within the filter. The dirty water is then flushed from the EazyPod, removing the collected waste and leaving the filter clean and ready for use.
