Strong Titanium Structure: This unit was designed by Evolution Aqua to withstand a wide range of conditions, resistant to rust or corrosion in either saltwater or freshwater. Easy Integration: Equipped with universal fittings and a compact design for fast simple installation. Energy Efficiency: Provides high-performance sterilization with optimized energy usage, saving on operational costs. Robust 110-Watt UV Lamp (110W only): Made to nullify algae spores, harmful microorganisms, and bacteria which will provide you a balanced ecosystem. Efficient 55-Watt UV Lamp (55W only): Provides UV sterilization to keep your water healthy and clean. Even More Efficient Design than standard UV clarifiers When the UV light strikes the internal surface of the titanium chamber it produces an instant photocatalytic reaction and generates Hydroxyl Radicals, a powerful oxidant, that instantly destroys organic and inorganic matters, neutralizing water-born algae, bacteria and viruses resulting in clearer water whilst being perfectly safe for all pond life PGP TipStepped hosetails on the 55W Clarifier fit several tubing sizes including 3/4", 1", 1.25" and 1.5". We often purchase 1.5" MPT to slip adapters in the slip size needed as a more professional alternative to hosetails. Consider also gluing unions in place when using glued joints instead of hosetails.
